This fabulous British brand of dolls was launched in 2013 by Mums Nicola and Lisa. As children Nicola and Lisa had enjoyed playing with their dolls, named Bonnie and Pearl, and the dolls have stayed with them into adulthood, reminding them both of the fun and adventures they had with their dolls as young girls.
Lisa and Nicola's dream has been to make high quality crafted dolls that today's little girls can take on adventures and keep forever with all the associated memories, just like I have done with my Sasha dolls.
Now those of you who know me well, know that I am a stickler for quality and beauty, and these gorgeous dolls surpass what I expect of a doll. The face mould is different to the norm and is extremely pretty. The eyes close and are incredibly sparkly, and the hair, well, is just amazing because the wigs used are top quality, silky, shiny and made to last. Another feature I love is that all the dolls have vinyl chest plates with soft bodies beneath. This allows the dolls to look pretty in strappy dresses while still remaining tactile to touch and hold. Rosie my 10 year old is now in love with the dolls and would like her own doll to add to her growing collection.
Bonnie & Pearl also have a range of trendy dolls clothes which are refreshingly non-pink. Again, Rosie and I have been really impressed with the quality of the fabrics used and the finish, plus the sets are really good value as they include shoes.
