Victorian Dress for 18" dolls

My daughter just loves this Victorian Style Dress. It has been designed in America to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl, Madame Alexander Favourite Friends and Gotz Precious Day dolls Julia, Jessica and Elizabeth. The dress also fits Hannah a little loosely but possible as you can see in the photograph.

The dress is made from two fabrics. The bodice, sleeves and top half of the skirt are made from ivory cotton with little daisies embroidered all over. The large collar and lower section of the skirt are made from ivory cotton covered in a lilac and purple floral print with sage green leaves. The collar, the seam between the two fabrics in the skirt and the hem of the skirt are all trimmed with pretty mauve lace. There are also some gorgeous roses made from mauve and green satin ribbon stitched on the front of the dress by the collar, on each side of the skirt on the front and also on the back of the skirt. Finally, there is a co-ordinating hair band made from ivory satin ribbon with three little mauve roses stitched on. To help give the skirt the volume needed for a Victorian Dress there is a separate petticoat with two layers of stiff net attached to wide elastic which helps to push the net outwards.

These 18" dolls clothes are CE marked and are considered safe to be played with by children age 3 years of age and older.

These dolls clothes can be hand washed in luke warm water using a mild detergent. Do not tumble dry but dry flat, smoothing out creases whilst damp. Use a cool iron if required.
