Baby Mein My First Spring Vinyl Baby Doll

Baby Mein bath dolls by Kathe Kruse are becoming increasingly popular since their introduction. They are made from phthalate free vinyl by the Kathe Kruse family in Germany. All of her joints are articulated so she can be easily positioned. Her face with blue eyes has been hand painted in the traditional Kathe Kruse style and her painted hair is dark brown with hand painted wisps around her face.

This Baby Mein is dressed for spring. Her pretty woven cotton outfit uses lots of different prints. The yoke of her dress is pale pink with mid pink polka dots. The sleeves and skirt are made from mid pink cotton covered in a ditsy floral print in shades of red, orange, green and white. The frill around the hem of the dress and her knee length bloomers are made from a corally red fabric with larger white polka dots all over it. Her co-ordinating pink hat is made from jersey and is trimmed with a patterned ribbon bow. The overall effect is very pretty and cheerful and I like it a lot.
