This is the Breast Milk Baby, made by Berjuan in Spain, which was designed to teach the importance of breast feeding. Every other baby doll on the market encourages the use of bottles but this baby knows that 'breast is best'.
The vinyl used to make the doll is very soft and scented. She has long blonde eyelashes and blue eyes which close. Her mouth is slightly open showing her tongue. Her hair is moulded and very slightly painted blonde and she has healthy rosy cheeks. The vinyl of her arms and legs goes up well past her elbows and knees so she will look nice in T shirts and dresses. She is wearing a pale pink fleece baby grow with sections made from pink and white striped towelling and it is decorated on the front with an appliqued heart and a fleece flower.
The part of the set that created a stir when the baby doll was first launched is the bib designed to be worn by a child - the little mum. It fits like a bra with a tie neck and lots of velcro around the back to allow it to fit many ages of child. The bib is made from pretty floral fabric trimmed around the edges in blue. On the front of the bib in the position of nipples are two flowers containing something like a magnet, but whatever it is, when the baby doll comes into contact with it the functions are triggered and the baby doll starts to make sucking noises. After the baby has finished feeding she can be placed upright against the chest for a good burp! Just like the real thing - but at least this one doesn't mess up your clothes!
This doll is not suitable for children under the age of 3 due to small parts. To operate the doll requires 3 x AA batteries which are not included.

The body of this doll can be gently wiped with a soft damp cloth. Do not immerse in water. The clothes can be carefully handwashed in warm water using a mild detergent. Dry flat and do not tumble dry. Smooth out creases whilst damp and use a cool iron if required.
