Dolls For All Blonde Baby Doll in Blue 42cm

This lovely 42cm baby doll with short blonde hair is one of a range of dolls called Dolls For All, a range created by Llorens dolls for children with disabilities.

The doll is light to carry and very cuddly. His/her clothes are very easy to remove as they are cut generously and open out more than traditional clothes using very soft velcro. The doll's fists are clenched so that they don't get caught in the sleeves. There are shapes embroidered thickly on the outfit enabling a child with visual impairment to recognise the outfit by touch.

Muñecas Llorens is a family company that manufactures dolls. From 1996, the company has participated in research projects studying play and disability through the Instituto Tecnológico del Juguete (AIJU). In 2010 Llorens was nominated for and won an award from The Design for All Foundation for the production of dolls according to the principles of 'Design for All'. The Dolls for All collection was conceived to reduce discrimination and increase the respect towards the diversity of sensorial or movement abilities.
