I'm so excited that this lovely new Hannah doll has arrived. New for 2011 Hannah at the Ballet Black has a newly sculpted face with large eyes and full lips, and she is oh so pretty. Plus of course she has afro hair which is a first too!
Hannah is a beautiful ballerina doll with an all vinyl body sculpted carefully with lots of detail. She has the body shape of a 6 - 8 year old girl and is wonderful to pose with her articulated joints and realistic looking limbs. She arrives dressed for a ballet class wearing a short sleeved pale pink jersey leotard with a matching ballet wrap and elasticated net skirt. Her tights are also pale pink which she wears with knitted leg warmers and ballet shoes. This lovely Hannah ballet doll is wearing her hair in a high ponytail tied with a band trimmed with a very large sequin covered flower in pink and mauve. Gotz Hannah also comes with a spare set of dolls clothes to change into after her ballet class. There is a long sleeved white T shirt with pink overlocking and a cool pair of denim dungarees with contrast stitching, turn ups and a little crocheted flower on the front. Little girls are bound to love the coffee coloured mock suede fringed sandals with sparkly diamante and metal beads all around. To finish the outfit there is a courier style bag for Hannah to wear made from pretty pink floral fabric with a webbing strap.
This doll would make the most wonderful gift for a ballet loving little girl. There are so many clothes to collect for her too with more coming out each year that grand parents and aunts and uncles could add to a collection at christmas and birthdays. She's lovely. Very pleased that at long last Gotz have made a black doll.
I'm sure a little girl will need help maintaining this dolls lovely hair!

The body of this doll can be cleaned using a damp cloth with a little mild detergent if required. The body should not be immersed in water as this will rot the elastic holding the limbs onto the body.
The hair can be carefully washed using a mild shampoo taking care not to create tangles.
The dolls clothes can be hand washed using a mild detergent in warm water. Do not tumble dry but dry flat, smoothing out creases whilst damp. Iron using a cool iron if needed.
