Jakob is a handsome little chap from the Kidz 'n' Cats range designed by Sonja Hartmann in Germany for With Heart and Soul. Kidz 'n' Cats dolls are made from vinyl that is phthalate and azo dye free. They are unique in that they have nine joints and can bend their elbows and knees enabling them to sit, kneel, climb and straddle, and dressing them is easier too. Their hair is a kanekalon wig which is stitched to the head, giving the hair a more natural appearance and making the style easier to maintain. They have sparkling acrylic eyes and long eye lashes, painted eye brows, rosy cheeks and a sweet little nose and mouth. A great deal of attention has been paid to the modelling of their bodies including their intricate hands and feet.
Jakob has brown eyes and short layered blonde hair. He is wearing a long sleeved grey marl cotton T shirt with a cool emblem printed on the front showing a figure perched on the top of the Eiffel Tower. His trousers are made from mustard coloured canvas with contrasting black stitching. They are elasticated at the back and fasten at the front with a popper. As underwear Jakob wears a pair of pale blue and white striped boxer shorts and grey socks. His shoes are grey and beige loafers. Jakob's bomber jacket is made from brushed checked cotton in shades of brown, blue and dark green with black and fastens with a zip. To complete the outfit he wears a lovely grey knitted bobble hat and matching scarf. He's lovely and reminds me of Gregor, my tall blonde Sasha boy doll.
Jakob is beautiful - a very fine doll. He is slightly shorter than the Gotz Hannah/Sarah dolls but fits in well with them. His clothes are very well made and good quality, and it is great that he is so posable, which makes him easier to dress than the Gotz dolls. He has lovely brown eyes - wide eyed innocence!

The body of this doll can be cleaned using a damp cloth with a little mild detergent if required. The body should not be immersed in water as this will rot the elastic holding the limbs onto the body.
The hair can be carefully washed using a mild shampoo taking care not to create tangles. Care should be taken to avoid getting the wig wet as this may upset the glue used to attach the wig to the head.
The dolls clothes can be hand washed using a mild detergent in warm water. Do not tumble dry but dry flat, smoothing out creases whilst damp. Iron using a cool iron if needed.
