Kathe Kruse Elea Frida Standing Doll

Elea Frida is a 41cm doll by Kathe Kruse and has been made in Germany to an incredibly high standard. Elea Frida is a grown up standing doll with a cuddly body and is suitable for girls age 5 years and up although is safe from the age of 3.

Elea Frida is made from phthalate free vinyl and has articulated limbs and a head that swivels. Her body is made from fabric filled quite firmly with polyester fibre which enables her to stand on her own yet remains cuddly to hold. Her face is that of an Elea doll and is hand painted in the traditional Kathe Kruse manner with pretty brown eyes and long lashes. Elea Frida's long wavy hair is mid brown and is a kanekalon wig attached to her head and then styled with a fringe and side parting.

Elea Frida's clothes are beautiful. She is wearing a layered pinafore dress and matching head scarf made from various printed fabrics in shades of red, navy blue, terracotta and cream. Underneath the pinafore Frida is wearing a short sleeved white jersey top and a pair of knee length red jersey leggings. As underwear she has a simple white jersey all in one which helps to keep her fabric body clean. Finally on her feet Frida wears a gorgeous pair of red ballet pumps covered in tiny white polka dots with a large self coloured bow on the front of each. Gorgeous.

The body of this doll can be gently wiped with a soft damp cloth. Do not immerse in water. The clothes can be carefully handwashed in warm water using a mild detergent. Dry flat and do not tumble dry. Smooth out creases whilst damp and use a cool iron if required.
