Kathe Kruse Kikou Franzi Toddler Doll

Franzi is a little brunette haired soft doll, made by Kathe Kruse in Germany for children age 3 years and up. Franzi is Lolle's little sister and is made from cotton stockinette filled with polyester fibre and a few pellets in her bottom to add some weight. Kikou Franzi's head is actually phthalate free vinyl and it does swivel. She has a slightly smiling fun loving face with hand painted blue eyes and other features. Franzi's hair is actually a wig securely fastened to her head which means that her hair will keep it's style for a long time. Her hair is worn in bunches which are tied with pink elastic stretchy bands and she has a fringe.

Franzi's dolls clothes are lovely and suit her colouring well. She is wearing an ivory jersey T shirt with a pinafore over the top. The pinafore is made from woven cotton in a large check design in crimson and white with some fine black threads running through. The shoulders have false knots and the hem is trimmed with pink and white striped jersey. As underwear Franzi is wearing some red jersey shorts and on her feet she wears a pair of red felt slip on booties trimmed with a tiny pink bow on the front and pale pink organza ribbon around the top.

The body of this doll can be gently wiped with a soft damp cloth. Do not immerse in water. The clothes can be carefully handwashed in warm water using a mild detergent. Dry flat and do not tumble dry. Smooth out creases whilst damp and use a cool iron if required.
