Kathe Kruse Sophie Chrissi

Sophie Chrissi is a pretty 41cm child doll by Kathe Kruse. She has been made in Germany and is suitable for children from age 4 upwards.

Chrissi has a phthalate free head and limbs, all of which move well. Her body is made from flesh tone fabric filled quite firmly with polyester fibre so that she is both cuddly but can also stand on her own. Sophie has lots of wavy blonde hair with a fringe. Her hair is actually a kanekalon wig which means that the style will remain looking good for a long time if cared for. Sophie Chrissi's face is hand painted in the traditional Kathe Kruse "Sophie" style and has blue eyes.

Sophie Chrissi is wearing a sleeveless pale pink jersey top decorated on the front with a mother of pearl heart tied on with red ribbon. The edge of the top is overlocked with slightly deeper pink thread. Her skirt is made from pink woven cotton with a tiny floral print all over in shades of deep pink, orange, white and green. The bottom of the skirt has been trimmed with red and ivory striped satin ribbon, flowery lace and red fabric with white polka dots. Chrissi is also wearing a jersey cardigan in deep orange which has short gathered sleeves and a tie front. As underwear she wears a plain white jersey body, which if left on the doll at all times, helps to keep her body clean. Finally, Chrissi wears green espadrilles on her feet which have been painted on the front with little flowers.

The body of this doll can be gently wiped with a soft damp cloth. Do not immerse in water. The clothes can be carefully handwashed in warm water using a mild detergent. Dry flat and do not tumble dry. Smooth out creases whilst damp and use a cool iron if required.
