Kathe Kruse Toni Kaia Children's Doll

Toni Kaia is one of Kathe Kruse's range of Toni dolls. Toni dolls are all vinyl with very flexible joints and are intended for children age 5 years and up to play with. Toni Kaia has a hand painted face with brown eyes using the traditional Kathe Kruse techniques. Her brunette hair is a kanekalon wig with a side parting, fringe and long curls. It is worn with the sides pulled back into a pony tail trimmed with pink satin ribbon.

Toni Kaia's clothes are very up to date. She wears a striped jumper in cream, pink, turquoise, green and aubergine. Her loose fitting hareem style chinos are mid calf length and coffee coloured. On her feet Toni Kaia wears a pair of purple canvas pumps with white laces. To complete the look Toni Kaia wears a pink scarf at the neck and as underwear she has a simple white cotton body.

Toni Kaia has been designed and made to a very high standard by the Kathe Kruse family company in Germany.

The body of this doll can be cleaned using a damp cloth with a little mild detergent if required. The body should not be immersed in water as this will rot the elastic holding the limbs onto the body.

The hair can be carefully washed using a mild shampoo taking care not to create tangles. Care should be taken to avoid getting the wig wet as this may upset the glue used to attach the wig to the head.

The dolls clothes can be hand washed using a mild detergent in warm water. Do not tumble dry but dry flat, smoothing out creases whilst damp. Iron using a cool iron if needed.
