Kathe Kruse Waldorf Pink Sweetheart Doll

Sweetheart Pink is the most gorgeous Waldorf doll by Kathe Kruse which is suitable for babies from 6 months and up. Sweetheart Pink has been designed and made to their very high standards by the Kathe Kruse family in Germany. Being a Waldorf doll Sweetheart Pink has been made using all natural materials. Sweetheart Pink's head, hands and feet are made from skin tone cotton stockinette filled carefully with sheep's wool. It takes time to ensure that the wool is in just the right place to form her nose, cheeks and eye sockets. Her blue eyes and red mouth are embroidered and her blonde woollen hair is plaited and tied securely. Pink Sweetheart's body is made from pink cotton velour to give the impression of clothing and her body is again filled with wool. Over this Sweetheart Pink is wearing a pretty white cotton pinafore dress covered in a tiny multi-coloured floral print with pink ric rac braid stitched around the hem. The pinafore can be removed. She also has a pink velour knotty hat sewn securely to her head.

Sweetheart Pink can be handwashed with a mild detergent such as Woolite. She is presented in a pretty white organza bag tied with a red ribbon.

This doll can hand washed in luke warm water using woolite. It is best to tie up any hair to prevent tangling. Air dry the doll in a warm place with the hair in the desired style. The dolls clothes can also be handwashed. They should be dried flat and not tumble dried, smoothing out creases whilst damp. A cool iron can be used if required.
