Kathe Kruse Waldorf Red Sweetheart Doll

Waldorf Red Sweetheart Doll is a beautiful brunette doll suitable for children from 6 months of age. She has been made in Germany by Kathe Kruse and meets their exceptionally high standards for design and craftsmanship. Being a Waldorf doll she is made of all natural materials.

Her head, body, hands and feet are made from flesh coloured cotton stockinette filled with sheep's wool. Her brown eyes and red smiling mouth are embroidered and her pink rosy cheeks are painted. She has a fringe made of brown wool and long plaits with a red bow on the end of each. Her outfit is made from crimson velour with the legs and arms being lightly filled with wool. The same velour is used for her long knotty hat. Her removable pinafore has a red spotty yoke and a red gingham skirt and frilled sleeves (this differs slightly from the photograph). The yoke is trimmed with spotty braid and the skirt with red ric rac braid.

This doll can hand washed in luke warm water using woolite. It is best to tie up any hair to prevent tangling. Air dry the doll in a warm place with the hair in the desired style. The dolls clothes can also be handwashed. They should be dried flat and not tumble dried, smoothing out creases whilst damp. A cool iron can be used if required.
