Galina is another beautiful doll from the Kidz 'n' Cats range. These dolls are designed in Germany by Sonja Hartmann for her company With Heart & Soul and are intended for children age 6 years and up.
Kidz 'n' Cats dolls are made from vinyl that is phthalate and azo dye free. They are unique in that they can bend their elbows and knees enabling them to sit, kneel, climb and straddle, and dressing them is easier too. Their hair is a kanekalon wig which gives the hair a more natural appearance and makes the style easy to maintain. The wig is stitched to their head along the parting.
Galina has sparkling brown acrylic eyes and long eye lashes, painted eyebrows, rosy cheeks and a sweet little nose and mouth. She is also showing her pearly white teeth. Galina has copious amounts of long brown hair worn with a side parting and a subtle fringe. She is wearing a white top printed with a dog on a pink footstool with the words 'Yes! I made it to the top'. Over this she wears a faux fur dalmation jacket with denim trim and sequinned studs for buttons and mini ones around the collar and cuffs. Her denim shorts have turn ups and a pink faux leather belt with a silver chain for decoration. Galina wears a pair of pink shiny tights with some very trendy grey faux suede high ankle boots with pink laces. As underwear Galina has a sweet little pair of white lace knickers. She also wears a pretty teal and pink elasticated hairband. Very hip!
Galina has a cute designer kitten with her. The cat is made from soft faux fur fabric with a pink nose and ears, long whiskers and embroidered claws. The cat wears some cute denim dungarees with a tie fur collar to match Galina's jacket and finally a sweet french beret.
I absolutely love this doll. Although I am a granny I would love to keep this doll but I have bought it for my lovely granddaughter who will adore it, I know. The service from you was excellent, I got the dolls two days after i emailed my order to you. I will use you again!!!!!! Kind regards.
Galina is such a lovely doll. Well made and so very appealing. The clothes she comes in are great. I am keeping her as a collector doll but also intend to make clothes to my own design for her. Bambolina is a first class company providing excellent advice and service. Thank you.
What an adorable doll - the photos don't really do her justice! I haven't taken her out of the box, but you can see that she is beautifully made and will certainly be treasured. This will be a Christmas present for my 5 year old daughter and I am sure she will be thrilled. I haven't looked forward to Christmas morning so much since I was a child myself! The service from Bambolina was excellent. All the items arrived with a beautiful ribbon bow - very personal, and also with very speedy delivery. I will definitely be back.
The body of this doll can be cleaned using a damp cloth with a little mild detergent if required. The body should not be immersed in water as this will rot the elastic holding the limbs onto the body.
The hair can be carefully washed using a mild shampoo taking care not to create tangles. Care should be taken to avoid getting the wig wet as this may upset the glue used to attach the wig to the head.
The dolls clothes can be hand washed using a mild detergent in warm water. Do not tumble dry but dry flat, smoothing out creases whilst damp. Iron using a cool iron if needed.
