Petitcollin Coline's Birthday - Brunette Haired Doll

This doll set is divine and will make an excellent gift. I know I rave about lots of dolls, but Coline's Birthday has to be one of the best. Coline is a beautiful 35cm doll made by Petitcollin, the last doll manufacturer in France. She has long wavy rooted brunette hair with a side parting, brown inset eyes and a slightly smiling mouth. She is made from soft vanilla scented phthalate free vinyl which is lovely to the touch. Her body is made from fabric and is lovely and cuddly, with her limbs sewn on.

Coline is wearing a traditional dress made from soft white cotton lawn. It has short puffed sleeves with cuffs, a peter pan style collar trimmed with lace and a pink rose bud on each side, a gathered skirt layered with shimmering organza edged with pink rose buds and leaves. On her feet she wears a pair of white loafers trimmed with a bow. A very beautiful set of dolls clothes which little girls will love! Coline arrives in a really pretty packaging box which opens to reveal a well made pink suitcase covered in tiny white hearts. The suitcase opens and the lid is held in place by two ribbons. Inside there is Coline but with lots of other goodies! There are some more dolls clothes which include:

• a short pink quilted matinee style jacket to go over her dress
• some lovely cotton pyjamas with a white background and tiny pink flowers and leaves all over
• a pink towelling dressing gown trimmed with the same fabric as the pyjamas
• pink towelling slippers also trimmed with the same floral fabric

Tucked in the pockets in the lid of the case there are also:

• a white cotton party hat trimmed with pink ric rac and green ribbon, with pieces of ribbon sticking out of the top and the french words meaning happy birthday, "Joyeux anniversaire" printed on the side
• a soft pale pink fleece birthday cake covered in lace, ribbons and roses with a fabric candle on the top, also with Joyeux anniversaire printed on the side
• a white towelling 10cm bear dressed in a matching party dress with a matching party hat

When Coline feels tired at the end of her day after all her birthday celebrations she can snuggle down on the pink and white striped mattress at the bottom of the case. She really is very lovely!

The body of this doll can be gently wiped with a soft damp cloth. Do not immerse in water. The clothes can be carefully handwashed in warm water using a mild detergent. Dry flat and do not tumble dry. Smooth out creases whilst damp and use a cool iron if required.
