This little doll is such a cutie. She measures just 21cm and has an all vinyl body with swivel joints. She has a pretty face with bright blue inset eyes and rosy cheeks, and has blonde hair with a fringe worn in a short bob. Tiny Doll comes in her own suitcase which is pink and covered with white hearts. She is dressed ready for school in a short sleeved summer dress in a floral design with a lace collar beneath which she wears a pair of lilac tights with white shoes. Tiny Doll carries a mock suede school satchel and wears a hooded cape in brown and fawn tweed trimmed with purple ovelock stitching.
There are extra sets of dolls clothes in the set including a white leotard, tutu and leg warmers for her ballet class, a cream woolly jumper and red velvet trousers for after school, and finally a pair of pink and white gingham pyjamas, pink slippers and a gorgeous towelling teddy to snuggle up to in bed. Finally, there are some tiny white hangers for the dolls clothes and a little hook in the suitcase to hang them on.
Tiny doll has been designed by the traditional French doll maker, Petitcollin, and has been made in China.
Gorgeous little doll and outfits, love it!
This little doll is extremely cute with her innocent face and appealing blue eyes. I bought her for myself as I had been pleased with my Petitcollin Francette Jardins du Luxembourg doll but she looks sturdy enough to be played with by young children. She makes a great little playmate for other similar sized dolls (Madame Alexander 8 inch dolls, Ginni and Amanda Jane, although she is the tallest of them). I enjoyed photographing her in her various outfits. Little girls would love the pretty suitcase in which she arrives.
The body of this doll can be cleaned using a damp cloth with a little mild detergent if required. The body should not be immersed in water as this will rot the elastic holding the limbs onto the body.
The hair can be carefully washed using a mild shampoo taking care not to create tangles.
The dolls clothes can be hand washed using a mild detergent in warm water. Do not tumble dry but dry flat, smoothing out creases whilst damp. Iron using a cool iron if needed.
