Sophie Lena Phthalate Free Doll by Kathe Kruse

Sophie Lena by Kathe Kruse is a 41cm standing play doll suitable for girls from age 4 and up. Sophie has been made to an incredibly high standard by Kathe Kruse in Germany. The vinyl used for her head and limbs is free of phthalates, her soft fabric body is carefully filled so that she is firm enough to stand on her own whilst still remaining tactile and cuddly. Sophie Lena's joints are highly flexible at the hip and shoulder so she can be easily posed.

Sophie's face has hand painted blue eyes in the Kathe Kruse Sophie style. Her blonde hair with a side parting and fringe is actually a wig which means that her hair style will keep it's looks for longer than if rooted hair. She wears a simple white jersey body to keep her fabric body clean and over this she is wearing a purple check sleeveless bubble dress which is cut on the bias and is very soft to the touch. The same fabric has been used to tie her side pony tail. Over her dress Sophie Lena wears a marled and brushed heather coloured tie front cardigan with silver thread over stitching to decorate. Finally on her feet, this lovely doll is wearing purple lace up plimsolls. A really lovely doll for an older girl.

The body of this doll can be gently wiped with a soft damp cloth. Do not immerse in water. The clothes can be carefully handwashed in warm water using a mild detergent. Dry flat and do not tumble dry. Smooth out creases whilst damp and use a cool iron if required.
