Sophie Nana Children's Doll by Kathe Kruse

Sophie Nana by Kathe Kruse is the most lovely doll for an older girl. She has been lovingly made in Germany and has a hand painted face with hazel eyes, a hand knotted brunette kanekalon wig which is incredibly long and wavy with a fringe. The vinyl used for her head and limbs is phthalate free and her limbs are very flexible enabling her to be posed in lots of positions. Sophie Nana's body is made from flesh coloured cotton which has been carefully filled firmly enough so that she can stand on her own whilst remaining tactile and soft to hold.

Sophie Nana is wearing a pretty checked dress in shades of pink, taupe, white, grey and red. The sleeveless dress has been cut on the bias and is gathered and stitched to a slightly shorter lining giving it a bubble effect. She wears a pink jersey tie front cardigan with silver thread overstitching and decoration, and as underwear she wears a simple white jersey body. On her feet Sophie Nana wears my favourite pink heart shoes with velcro fastening. She's lovely and there are lots of pretty clothes available separately for her too.

The body of this doll can be gently wiped with a soft damp cloth. Do not immerse in water. The clothes can be carefully handwashed in warm water using a mild detergent. Dry flat and do not tumble dry. Smooth out creases whilst damp and use a cool iron if required.
