Waldorf Gugguli Pale Pink

Gugguli Pale Pink is a soft and cuddly baby comforter suitable from birth. From hand to hand she measures 28cm, as she does from the top of her head to her feet. Gugguli is also a Waldorf doll, also sometimes known as a Steiner doll. Waldorf dolls are simple and made from natural materials, and are believed to engage a child's senses and thereby encourage their imagination and play. Gugguli's head, feet and hands are made from flesh tone cotton stockinette filled with sheep's wool, and her simple face is hand painted. Her body is made from soft, thick pale pink cotton velour. On her head she wears a long knotty hat made from white jersey with brightly coloured polka dots which is securely attached and looks wonderful to chew and suck. A few strands of securely attached cotton thread peek out from under her hat. The same fabric has been used as a ruffle around her neck.

Gugguli has been carefully made by hand in Germany by the Kathe Kruse family firm.

These dolls clothes can be washed in the machine on a delicate cycle at 30’C using a mild detergent. It is a good idea to place them in a lingerie bag for extra protection. Do not tumble dry but dry flat smoothing out creases whilst damp. Use a cool iron if required.
