Kathe Kruse Rascal Dressing Fox

Rascal the fox is a soft toy designed to teach dressing skills. Rascal is 45cm tall and has a lovely and cuddly round tummy and long dangling limbs. His brown fur is made from a type of towelling with long loops and his cream fur is brushed fleece. His nose is black velour, his paw pads are brown velour and his green eyes are hand embroidered.

Rascal is wearing a cream cotton shirt covered in prints of owls and toadstools and this has a red and ivory striped jersey collar. The shirt fastens using red buttons and buttonholes. His dungarees are made from good quality red cotton drill with an owl patch pocket on the front. These fasten with velcro on each side and two types of clips. On his feet he wears one red baseball boot with white laces and one blue boot with velcro straps. Finally he has a fluffy ow with felt appliqued features and wings attached to him using a removable clasp. The owl makes twittering noises when moved around.

This doll can hand washed in luke warm water using woolite. It is best to tie up any hair to prevent tangling. Air dry the doll in a warm place with the hair in the desired style. The dolls clothes can also be handwashed. They should be dried flat and not tumble dried, smoothing out creases whilst damp. A cool iron can be used if required.
