Knit it Stitch It! by Jane Bull

This book is to die for! It is packed full of 70 different knitting, sewing and creative projects and it is so colourful and inspirational!!

It introduces basic knitting stitches and provides patterns for finger puppets, purses, simple soft toys, scarves and hats for dolls and children. It then moves onto weaving using a shoe box as a frame to produce a work of art. The pages are then filled with inspiring and pretty pictures to help create workboxes using jam jars, egg boxes and pringles tubes. There are ideas for embroidering and embellishing a little cushion and a plain T shirt. There's cross stitch and tapestry.

The sewing projects include a little doll (pattern provided) which can be used to make many things including pirates, dolls, snowmen, cats....There are instructions to make filled felt shapes such as hearts and and christmas decorations. There's a beautiful bag covered in ribbons, felt flowers to cover a hairband, cushions, bean bags, a sweet little doll with a skirt and top, nightdress and pillow, lavendar bags, patchwork ideas, badges, cupcakes and more!

Well done Jane Bull for producing such a scrumptious and creative book! The book is hard backed with spiral binding.
