Our Christmas Photo Competition!

Share with friends

Yippee, it’s time for our annual Christmas photo competition!

After the madness of sending out thousands of parcels all over the world to help Santa with his very important work, it’s now time to sit back and watch the fun as the lucky recipients open their presents and discover something wonderful – a doll or dolly accessories.

Can you capture the joy on your children’s faces with your camera as they greet their dolls? Or perhaps in the days after opening their presents you are able to photograph the games or adventures that your children play with their new friends, whether going on country walks, having tea parties or going to ballet classes. We will be looking for a little bit of Christmas magic and sparkle together with some dolly happiness and joy.

Our Christmas Photo Competition!

Amelia from our 2016 competition

This year we will choose one winner who will receive a £60 voucher and two runners up who will each receive £30. (If our winners are from outside of the European Union we will send vouchers for £50 and £25).

With photography it’s always best to take quite a few and then choose the best one to send in as your entry to the competition. Use a decent camera if you can to ensure that the photographs are crisp and clear. Please just send us your favourite photo.

All entries will be displayed on our blog and readers will be invited to choose their favourite photo, which will help in the decision making process. We will also share all photos on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. Your privacy is very important to us so we will only refer to the child in your photo by their first name with no surname or location.

If you would like to enter the competition please send your photograph to (our email address has now been removed). Please include your full name, address and phone number together with the all important information about your child – their first name and age.

The closing date for sending in your photos is 1 January 2017 and we will choose the winners one week later, to allow time for our readers to comment.

Have a wonderful Christmas everyone and have lots of fun with your children, dolls and camera.

Cate O'Neill

Founder of Petalina Dolls, Cate O'Neill, loved dolls as a child. For her 7th birthday she received a Sasha doll and quickly grew a family of five. With daughters of her own Cate tried to find them equally beautiful dolls to play with, but was disappointed with the choice available. She created Petalina with the aim of providing today's little girls with the opportunity to own gorgeous dolls and enjoy innocent doll play just as she did as a child.
