Petitcollin

Petitcollin began making dolls in 1860 in the region of Etain in France and it is now the only remaining doll manufacturer in France. Petitcollin continue to make dolls in the traditional way and customers are invited to visit their factory to see the dolls being made. Many people have grown up playing with Petitcollin dolls and they now want to buy the dolls for their children and grand children so that they can enjoy them too. If you like the idea of your children playing with traditional dolls wearing traditional clothes which are made fairly locally, then do look at these lovely dolls.

The faces of the dolls are very pretty and many have sleeping eyes. Their hair is rooted and can be brushed and styled. The vinyl used to make the bodies and limbs of the dolls is phthalate free, light in weight and vanilla scented. The limbs have been made using molds and the pieces are joined together which leaves a slight line, unlike the sections of modern dolls which are made in one piece using injection molding. The clothes of the dolls are very traditional in style using good quality materials such as Liberty Tana Lawn.

The majority of products are made in France - the dolls and the clothes. The shoes and furniture are made in China and other parts of Europe respectively.
